12/21/21 Marygrove Children and Friends of Kids with Cancer Toy Drive
This year JW Software had two holiday gift-giving opportunities for our employees to participate in: Marygrove Children and Friends of Kids with Cancer.
This year JW Software had two holiday gift-giving opportunities for our employees to participate in: Marygrove Children and Friends of Kids with Cancer. Both are wonderful organizations that help kids all year long. We believe in building a solid and lasting relationship with our local community and giving back, especially during the holidays.
Marygrove Children represents new beginnings to 200 children and young adults as a therapeutic residential home here in St Louis. These children receive therapy, find hope, and are cared for in a way that restores their dignity and self-worth. To help Marygrove bring Christmas joy and happiness, we collected over $2,500 and were able to pay for the gifts for all the kids housed in one of their transitional residence cottages.
Friends of Kids with Cancer is devoted to enriching children's daily lives undergoing treatment for and survivors of cancer and blood-related diseases. This year we collected donations and went on a toy shopping spree ourselves that brought out the young in all of us. Thanks to generous office donations, we were able to purchase 70+ toys, including the ever-popular fidget toys, art & craft kits, games, and more.
These toys and donations will go directly to local St Louis area children, bringing joy and Christmas spirit to kids. We hope these toys will find these little fighters in happy spirits, enjoying the holiday season.
