JW Software Announces the Resignation of Company President, James (Jim) Wieland; Jason Williams to become the next President.

After 32 years of serving as the Founder and President of JW Software, Jim has decided to step down as the President of JW Software. Jim’s trusted Executive Team, will take over the day-to-day operations of the company. Jim is being named as the Chairman of the Board and will continue to serve as a Special Advisor to help Jason Williams effectively transition to President, as well as provide guidance on strategic initiatives and concentrate on diversifying the FileHandler and PolicyHandler Enterprise applications.

We are pleased to announce that effective January 1st, 2021. Jason Williams will serve as JW Software’s new President, Mandy Wieland-Phoenix will serve as Secretary and Treasurer, Dave Wieland will remain in the Senior Vice President of Operations, Nicholas Toal will remain in the Vice President of Business Development and Sales, and Chris Phoenix will be promoted to VP of Client Services. Additional members of the Executive Team include Phil Warden- Chief Information Officer, Rob Bull- PolicyHandler Division Manager, and David Stephen Wieland- FileHandler Engineering Lead. Together this team has already proven successful in navigating an unconventional 2020 and is excited for continued future growth.

With over 14 years serving as a pivotal member of the JW Software management and support team, Jason Williams has been involved with every aspect of the business including project management, quality assurance, application and client support, operations, sales, strategic development, and many other duties. Jason has maintained the role of the VP of Client Services for the last 10 years, which has provided him with ample knowledge of the client base as well as internal operations to make this transition seamless.

To become only the second president of JW Software, Jason's appointment is a clear reflection of the company’s plans to strategically grow and continue to evolve to address the changing market needs of JW Software’s current and future client partners. Jason’s background and his involvement over the last several years make him a perfect choice to oversee the development of the overall JW Software infrastructure for the future.
