PolicyHandler is a browser-based, .NET Workers Compensation Policy Management System designed to support all phases of the policy lifecycle, e.g., application processing, issuance, commissions, billing, audits, cancellations and reinstatements. In addition, PolicyHandler integrates a full reporting suite including both management and all required statutory reports.

The system has been strategically designed to enhance our client’s current processes and improve productivity making an immediate impact on a carrier’s bottom line. Product-based Design

PolicyHandler employs a unique software design philosophy that allows clients to use integrated customization tools which render virtually 98% of the screens in the system to be entirely user-configured. In addition, PolicyHandler allows clients to develop custom screens that integrate seamlessly into the PolicyHandler system.

Specifically, PolicyHandler allows for users to configure screens in a variety of ways, for example:

• Additional search and result elements may be added to an entirely new customized page or to existing pages
• Fully customized screens may be added with custom and/or existing data elements
• Existing toolbars may be customized by adding/removing navigational buttons, redirecting navigational buttons and re-arranging pick-list menus
• Policy display screens allow for user configuration and ordering of informational display
• Clients are offered a user-friendly tool to customize its policy numbering schema

JWS’ Product-based Design approach empowers clients to support the product via internal IT staff without required help from the vendor. If a client requires a change to an existing screen for example, this may be accomplished in minutes as opposed to having to engage the vendor and pay additional customization fees and wait for the upgrade to be released.
