St. Louis, Missouri – FileHandler’s latest release, v6.0, provides those JW Software, Inc. (JWS) clients currently administering liability insurance (including self-insurance), no fault insurance, and workers’ compensation claims the tools to fully comply with Section 111 of the MMSEA (Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP Extension Act of 2007).
FileHandler v6.0 captures the required data and creates the necessary file formats to report to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and ensure compliance with the Medicare Secondary Payer statute (MSP).
JWS began the testing of Phase I (query) on July 1, 2009 with testing of Phase II (claim) to commence on January 1, 2010, per the request of CMS.
