St. Louis, MO – JW Software, Inc., a market leader in the development, sales and support of insurance technology software solutions, announced today the appointment of four new additions to the staff of JWS. Adam Burkhard and Kayce Singer will serve as analysts in the JWS QA department with Eric Pingolt and Ben Dvorak hired as Application Developers to support the development of PolicyHandler®, JWS’ fully integrated policy administration/billing system.
“This is an exciting time at JWS,” said Tim Cuckow, V.P. of Sales and Marketing. “The hiring of these four individuals not only speaks to the stability of JWS as a software provider, but also provides a glimpse into the future of the organization. After 20 years of developing and supporting a claims-only solution, we heeded the calls of not only our clients but the market and found there is a tremendous need today for an integrated policy administration/billing product backed by an organization with the stability, experience and knowledge to not only as serve as a technology provider, but a long-term strategic partner”.
“We’ve learned a great deal in the past 20 years about looking for trends in the insurance market,” said Jim Wieland, Founder and President of JWS. “2008 was the best year in company history and we wanted to capitalize on that momentum by starting this project and having PolicyHandler production-ready in 2009”.
Mr. Burkhard and Ms. Singer bring a wealth of support experience to JWS and both are already fully engaged in QA projects for both the PolicyHandler and FileHandler products. Mr. Pingolt and Mr. Dvorak will report directly to Jeff Osia, V.P., of Custom Development, and are currently focusing 100% of their efforts on the PolicyHandler product.
