Evansville, Ind. – Atlas World Group, Inc. (Atlas) parent company of Atlas Van Lines, Inc. the nation’s second largest van line, has selected FileHandler software as its companywide customer service platform.

In April 2006 Atlas Van Lines, Inc. began implementing FileHandler – developed by St. Louis-based JW Software – to administer cargo claims. That project has been expanded to include Atlas’ entire claims management system.

“Expanding the project to provide Atlas with an enterprise-wide solution will increase its productivity and capabilities by leveraging the development we’ve completed for the cargo group,” said JW Software’s President, Jim Wieland. “We’re pleased to be working with one of the nation’s largest and most technologically savvy van lines on this project.”

It’s anticipated that the FileHandler system will be used by more than 3000 people around the country including agents, repair firms, claim representatives and risk management staff. FileHandler’s browser-based technology will reconfigure Atlas’ risk management claims handling, for a more efficient customer service experience.
