Lines of Business Modules

• Workers Compensation Line of Business (LOB)
  FileHandler’s Workers Compensation LOB tracks demographic and detailed claim information for injured workers. The system fully integrates and automatically calculates lost time based upon the state rate calculations. The recurring payment functionality allows for payments to be scheduled and generated automatically following setup.
  
  The Workers Compensation LOB tracks employee wage and medical information as well as tracking lost days and restricted workdays. FileHandler’s dynamic forms library is continually being expanded to include all jurisdictionally mandated forms into the base FileHandler Workers Compensation LOB. Forms and letters are maintained and supported through the annual support and maintenance. Additional features include:

• Auto LOB
  FileHandler’s Auto LOB allows for multiple adjusters to be assigned to one claim. Features are opened at the party level, and each feature has its own status and can have its own owner. For example an insured party on a file could have two features open and one closed, all of which may have different handlers. In addition to tracking extensive vehicle information FileHandler also tracks salvage, subrogation and estimate information.
• General Liability LOB
  FileHandler’s General Liability LOB was designed to provide an open architecture allowing for multiple parties a to be assigned to an individual file. Each party will have a unique set of financials, notes, diaries, etc., associated with. In addition, multiple adjusters can be assigned to a file down to the reserve or feature level. Subrogation functionality exists to facilitate tracking Subrogation recoveries on the files
• Property LOB
  FileHandler’s Property Line of Business has a very open architecture allowing for multiple parties and multiple properties to be assigned to an individual file. Extensive property information is captured on the Property screens. Features are opened at the party level, and each feature has it’s own status and can have it’s own owner. Subrogation functionality exists to facilitate tracking Subrogation recoveries on the files.
• Professional Liability/Medical Malpractice Line of Business
  The Professional Liability (PL) module is designed to manage claims surrounding alleged negligent acts or errors in the performance of a client’s professional services. Similar to the General Liability module, each party will have a unique set of financials, notes, diaries, etc., associated with. The PL module expands however a unique set of data elements (both PL related and Defendant related) and reports to provide a comprehensive claim picture, specifically:
